I decided to extruded the base, shell it then convert it and add the flanges I need. My problem is the bends are supposed to be welded and I'm not sure how this should be modeled.

Thought about exporting to a STEP and then bringing it back in but no luck unless I'm missing a step. The project is for a mixer blade. I used loft because I know the beginning and ending location of the part on each plain.

But that deletes everything. There are hundreds of threads on converting solid to sheet metal. I can't find one that answers this simple question. Is there a place to set the default material thickness, bend radius, and gap for the "Convert To Sheet Metal" feature? The current defaults: Thickness = .07874016. Bend Radius = .15748032.
